Jocelyn Law

Licensed Massage Therapist/Retreat Coordinator/Fitness Instructor

Becoming a Retreat Coordinator has helped me tie together the things that have become very important in my life (Touch, Fitness, Nutrition, Health and Nature).  What better place to connect with nature than the Adirondacks.  This was now my calling, helping people get in touch with their Mind, Body and Soul through wellness retreats in Nature.
I studied the art of Massage at The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy in 2009.  I then opened my own massage studio for two of the three years that I continued to live there.  A year after my son, Noa, was born I decided to venture back to the states to be a little closer to home.  Being from the small town of Canton, in the northern part of the Adirondacks, I have always held a place for the mountains and change of seasons in my heart.  With my actice lifestyle, the Adirondacks were a great place for us to reside.  I am an avid rock climber, skier, camper, hula hooper and water lover hoping to spread my love for nature and wellness to others.

Through massage I have learned how to help people both emotionally and physically through touch.  I currently contract out of an office, Healing Elements, and The Olympic Training Center, both located in Lake Placid, NY.  Working with the athletes has been a challenge, but very rewarding and has given me the opportunity to grow with my skills.

With having played sports my entire life I knew that I needed to belong to some sort of group fitness program.  In the spring of 2015 I joined the gym, Fitness Revelution, in Lake Placid and started attending the ADK Fit class.  Falling right into place with the people there I was offered to teach a Circuit Trainging class shortly after.  Now that I had my massage and fitness I started wondering how I could connect this all with nature and wellness.
